Most people know the word of yoga. But what actually yoga means? In ancient time, yoga means discipline, was developed in the year 300 by an Indian Hindu named Patanjali. When Patanjali developed yoga, he was purely wants to assist people in the purpose of stretch the muscles, strengthen the physical body and improve concentration. It can as well assist you to relax your mind and your body, if you have trouble doing that.

All yoga poses require body and mentally balance. Yoga exercises copy nature. Many yoga poses can be similar to the poses of creatures, creatures like cat, tortoise, cobra, dog, eagle and crab.

In the cobra pose, for example, you ask yourself, what ones feels to be a cobra. You lie on your abdomen with your forehead touching the floor. As you inhale, you slowly and steadily roll back your head, supporting yourself with your hands. You hold that pose for a while, then come down slowly, trying to move like how snake would move.
